Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Software Engineer (multiple openings) in Bellevue, WA to

  • Write optimized, secure, functional and scalable code, and performance tune results.
  • Produce unit level test cases in accordance with domain standards using provided tools.
  • Provide proper estimates for work, and handle end to end release process.
  • Partner closely with other teams to produce an application that flows seamlessly and works intuitively with our merchants.
  • Share knowledge and presentations to the development community as well as help others with the knowledge gained over time.
  • Position reports to the Bellevue, Washington office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Software Development, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 
  • Experience with the above can be gained through academic coursework and/or work experience.

Position requires experience in the following skills:

  • Java, C#, C, and C++;
  • HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, and React;
  • Data structures, algorithms and software design patterns;
  • Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL;
  • Building tools and software libraries; and
  • Troubleshooting, and performing root-cause analysis for large scale legacy applications.

Additional Information

Worksite: Bellevue, WA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $137,259.00 USD to $164,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.
