Job Description

The Instant Pay squad designs, develops, enhances, and supports the integration of the Pismo Core Banking Platform with domestic, account-to-account, non-card, real-time payment systems.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute the value delivery strategy for our core banking platform, focused  on real-time payment rails (NPP, FPS, SEPA, UPI, RTP, FedNow,... )
  • Develop and monitor our product solutions throughout their entire life cycle and ensure product quality, including non-functional aspects such as: integrity, resilience and scalability.
  • Evaluate, together with engineering and business development, the approaches available to implement the product roadmap: build, partner, buy.
  • Prioritize and manage the product evolution backlog.
  • Work together and monitor engineering deliveries using agile models.
  • Cooperate with other teams to develop 'cross squads' evolutions
  • Provide technical and business expertise to address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Work closely with the sales and pre-sales teams to understand customer requirements. Assist in product demonstrations, presentations, and RFP responses during pre-sales engagements.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory framework changes and competitive landscape to identify and suggest improvements or new positioning of our products.
  • Research and evaluate third-party solutions that can complement Pismo's platform.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Technical Skills:
  • Relevant experience with a successful track record of working with at least one real-time payment rail: NPP, FPS, SEPA, UPI, RTP, FedNow,...
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one core banking platform
  • Experience of working in an agile environment using tools such as Jira, Miro, etc


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of APIs, Postman, and AWS cloud computing environment.
  • Experience of working with international teams in different time zones.
