Team Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

VCA team is looking for an individual to join our consulting practice and play a key role developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in Brazil supporting VCA’s Risk vertical. This position will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The potential candidate will be responsible for managing and extracting insights from vast amounts of data (including clients’ and/or VisaNet), performing analysis of trends, finding key insights based on transactional information, developing of dashboards statistical models, which will address key strategic needs for Visa’s clients including issuers, acquirers and merchants.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multidisciplinary projects and teams focused on risk consulting
  • Develop robust risk analyses and structure presentations with storytelling adapted to the segment
  • Monitor the area's results, identify growth opportunities and structure an action plan for execution
  • Lead expansion fronts in risks through new partnerships that bring additional services to credit consulting

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistic, or related fields
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in the financial industry, with solid expertise in credit risk and data analyzes
  • In-depth knowledge of credit risk and strong understanding of operational and strategic processes for risk mitigation.
  • Ability to monitor, analyze, and act upon performance indicators and internal controls
  • Strategic vision and strong analytical thinking.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive approach in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Fully bilingual Portuguese / English
