This role is within the Corporate FP&A P&L Team and supports the reporting, planning and analysis of financials for Visa Inc.  The Senior Financial Analyst will help produce insights and recommendations for Corporate FP&A leadership, support the coordination of global forecast and budget cycles, and analyze performance against these plans. This role will also be responsible for supporting the production of quarterly Visa Inc. Board and Earnings reporting materials, and the production of monthly business performance reporting to the Visa Inc. leadership team.

 

Essential functions

  • Produce analysis of Visa’s P&L for global reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles including Corporate Annual Target Setting and Multi-year Strategic Planning

  • Track monthly financial performance and utilize reporting from global teams to understand and explain variances to forecast or budget

  • Support the production of the corporate perspective and guidance for forecasts and budget cycles

  • Support the coordination of global forecasting and budgeting processes, acting as a business partner to regional and functional finance teams, ensuring published deadlines and corporate guidelines are adhered to, and supporting the consolidation, analysis and reporting at the global level

  • Support the production of quarterly Board and Earnings reporting materials

  • Provide analytical support to Visa Inc executives to prepare insightful views related to financial considerations to potential business decisions.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with a broad base of stakeholders (e.g., External Reporting, Controllership, Treasury, Tax and Investor Relations, etc.)

  • Track risks and opportunities to performance and assess their impact on Visa financials

  • Ensure financial data accuracy, integrity and consistency. Create and maintain job aid documentation for the end users to ensure continuity

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and promote a professional finance organization.

  • Evaluate AI use cases and determine how it can be utilized and implemented in Corporate FP&A to streamline processes.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership and site) or more based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 4 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of related consulting or Finance experience in a multinational organization
• Experience in FP&A, Consulting, Investment Banking or Public Accounting preferred
• CFA or Qualified Accountant degree (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent local qualifications) is a plus. Proficient at managing large data sets and translating data into insightful business storylines
• High proficiency in Excel with demonstrated ability to improve processes via automation and end to end efficiencies. Additional experience with a complex financial system (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, etc.) a plus
• Superior technical, quantitative and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail
and accuracy.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Self motivated and positive attitude
• Highly detail oriented with excellent planning and time management skills
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
