JOB DESCRIPTION 

Visa is searching for a Senior Director – Head of Brasil Marketing Services. As a key member of the Brazil Marketing Service leadership team, this individual will drive the strategy, vision, and go-to-market approach to grow Marketing Services revenue and profitability in alignment with the Visa 2030 strategy. Marketing Services is a strategic growth area focused on delivering value to clients through marketing advisory, sponsorship, creative services, and end-to-end marketing execution. This role partners closely with Core Marketing, Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), Sales, and Finance to deliver impactful client engagements. We are focused on delivering value to our clients through marketing advisory, sponsorship, creative services, and end-to-end marketing execution. This role partners closely with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), our sales organizations, and Finance to execute a range of services. We are looking for a proven leader with experience scaling large revenue-generating businesses, managing complex P&Ls, and driving business development. The ideal candidate will be a compelling communicator, a strategic thinker, and a team builder who can foster a high-performance culture. This role reports to the Vice President, Latina America and Caribbean Marketing Services and to the CMO Marketing Head of Brazil.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of the Marketing Services strategy for Brazil.

  • Identify and build new capabilities and services in collaboration with regional and market teams.

  • Develop a scalable, repeatable model for embedding Marketing Services with top strategic clients.

Financial Management

  • Own the Marketing Services P&L for the cluster, including financial planning, pipeline management, pricing, and margin optimization.

  • Oversee annual planning and reporting processes for Brazil in partnership with Finance.

  • Establish and track performance metrics to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.

Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Partner with Sales to position and sell Marketing Services to clients across the cluster.

  • Lead large RFP responses and strategic pitches, articulating Visa’s value proposition as the most competitive and strategic option for our clients

  • Collaborate with VCA to develop a unified “One Visa” model that maximizes client value and revenue.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of engagement, innovation, and accountability.

  • Drive operational excellence through best practice sharing, process enhancements, and capability development.

  • Represent the cluster in cross-functional and cross-regional forums, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD)

Preferred Qualifications
- 15–18 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated success, with progressive responsibility, in client marketing, consulting, or sales leadership roles.
- Independent, self-starter with a proven record of developing and executing integrated strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large P&Ls.
- Prior experience identifying, scoping, pitching, and advising Clients on data-driven marketing strategies. In-market or in-region experience preferred
