Job Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Manager to join our team.The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work under tight regulatory deadlines. The work will focus primarily on supporting various regulatory licenses and registrations (ex: state money transmission licenses and other financial service-related licenses), including ensuring operational compliance with regulatory and business requirements.  This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, including regulators, outside counsel, and third-party providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to obtain information as needed for regulatory submissions and due diligence responses.
  • Manage due diligence responses for clients and third-party providers.
  • Assist with preparing responses to regulatory inquiries, internal audits, and examination requests.
  • Support the Regulatory Affairs team with maintenance of its licenses, including preparing data for reporting.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product design and operations meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with monitoring changes to state legislation in the U.S. as they impact entity licensing and registration requirements, including consideration of potential business impact.
  • Prepare reporting for internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Regulatory Affairs team as required on projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
•5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
•Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for payments preferred.
•Ability to multi-task and independently manage and prioritize work, while meeting key regulatory deadlines.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Employs sound judgment regarding sensitive information.
•Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, with good interpersonal skills.
•Proficient in English.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,900.00 to 137,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
