  • Serve as the primary testing representative on cross functional project teams delivering. Impact assessment to current testing processes and policies.
  • Negotiate on behalf of the testing team for tools, training, and support commitments.
  • Develop and deliver training to global testing team. Develop/Maintain transaction and automation scripts. Develop/maintain clear testing project documentation.
  • Function as a global SME for assigned areas of expertise including.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA leads to improve testability, automation, and tools. Identify and troubleshoot system issues working with functional/development as required.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and knowledge to less tenured Global Client Testing (GCT) employees.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with a globally distributed team.
  • Travel required.
  • Position reports to the Ashburn, Virginia office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field, followed by 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Software Test Engineer-related occupation.
  • MVS, VIP, RSI, and CORE/Config
  • ISO 8583 messaging
  • Reading logprints and troubleshooting 01xx/02xx and other financial messages
  • API messages such as splunk logs
  • Payment testing simulators such as VTS-VIP.

Additional Information

Worksite: Ashburn, VA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: Travel is required.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

*U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $135,054.00 USD to $191,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
