Team Summary
Visa’s Product Engagement & Solutions Design team in Asia Pacific is part of Visa’s Product & Solutions function and is responsible for supporting digital solutioning across Visa's issuers, acquirers, group service providers, merchants, e-commerce enablers, wallet providers, IOT partners and third-party payment processors. The team is responsible for working across cross-functional stakeholder teams both internally and with external clients to prioritize, define and drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle.

This role will be dedicated to driving integrated program enablement for the Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team which brings payment solutions and associated services to emerging business verticals by working with our customers, industry players and internal stakeholders to bring the best experiences and commercial solutions to market.

What a Senior Solution Manager does at Visa:
- apply a unique blend of leadership and tactical skills as well as a very strong understanding of business, technical and operational aspects of product management and development, with industry leading experience in the areas of payment card processing, network processing, e-commerce, mobile technology, digital payments, issuance, digital enablement, business user experience and adoption, research and analytics, and financial analysis.
- be responsible for writing technical product requirements for the software development team and ensure that all requirements are met during the development phase and before going live.
- Manage technical product management functions including functional specs, roadmap, issue/risk management, and definition of success criteria for pilots. Support the sales team in pre-sales activities by creating solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
- conduct post project assessment and create recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful product elements & continuous refining of tech solutions
- proactively identify platform risks and consistently feed improvement, enhancements at various levels.
- design technical interfaces required for developing use cases for Digital Payments, Data and Business solutions
- actively engage with Product, Technology and Client Service teams to ensure Visa Commercial Solutions products are successfully developed, and business goals are supported in a cost effective, timely manner with a resulting high level of client satisfaction.
- engage with clients to gain feedback on new product offerings for continuous improvements
- transition products and services, once developed, to core support and implementations teams to reach market scalability goals and define production support framework
- Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing with key stakeholders, Bug bashes, and hackathons.
- Own and develop clear and concise product documentation to detail the pilot requirements and technical architecture.
- Provide updates and highlight any technical issues on weekly basis to the executive management.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure on-time/quality delivery.
What you will need:
- a strong payments domain knowledge to be able to design and architect solutions, develop new use cases for customers and have a strong understanding of technical integrations for payments platforms
- Experience as a solution architect for complex payment related use cases for large client partners; managing requirements of various payment players to build payment tie-ups and prescribing simple workflows to make more convenient and simpler
- Ability to apply understanding of systems and processes coupled with analytical ability to solution architect complex projects involving interfaces between various systems within organization
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
What will also help:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Expert knowledge of existing and emerging Agentic API technologies and systems used in payments, mobile and e-commerce, consumer authentication, 4-party payment model, authorization and clearing process, near field communication (NFC) and tokenization while keeping step with market developments
- Ability to partner with various teams to solution architect digital products offered through Visa Network and Visa Developer Platform (VDP).
- Experience providing consultative support to other teams for various Visa’s digital offerings such as VTS, Loyalty Products, Business Solutions, Data Products & Risk Products.
