What a Sr. Director – Head of Clients does at Visa:

As Senior Director – Head of Clients, Singapore, you will be at the helm of transformative change, shaping the future of payments and forging powerful connections across the region.  You will lead Visa’s client relationships and shape the future of payments in a rapidly evolving market. You will drive innovation, leverage technology, and build strategic partnerships to deliver tailored solutions for clients, growing Visa’s influence and market share.

In this role, you will set clear goals, foster collaboration across regional and global teams, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to operational excellence and client satisfaction. Your leadership will help set industry standards and position Visa as the preferred partner in a digital world.  You will identify new business opportunities, mitigate risks, and execute strategies that strengthen existing partnerships. This is your chance to make a significant impact — fueling progress, driving revenue, and helping define Visa’s leadership in Singapore’s dynamic payments landscape.

This role has a broad focus across Visa’s three strategic areas:

Core – Consumer Payments: increasing Visa’s share by delivering seamless and secure payment solutions that meet the everyday needs of consumers. Commercial & Money Movement Solutions - B2B & Corporate Payments: providing businesses with efficient and reliable payment systems to streamline their operations and enhance their financial management. Value-Added Services:  offering a suite of innovative services such as Advisory, CyberSource, Loyalty Solutions, Data, and Risk solutions to help clients optimize their operations and drive growth.

Additionally, the Head of Clients will focus on:

  • Strategic Execution: Translate Visa’s long-term strategy into specific, actionable objectives and plans for the market, ensuring alignment with key Visa stakeholders.
  • Building Strong Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, understand their business objectives to drive cross-selling of Visa’s comprehensive suite of products and solutions.  Proactively manage client expectations, address concerns effectively and consistently exceed client satisfaction goals.
  • Driving Market Growth: Drive revenue and commercial growth by exceeding targets, identifying new business opportunities and out of scope projects, upselling, cross-selling and expanding existing client relationships.  Develop and execute client development strategies and revenue objectives to increase personal consumption expenditure (PCE) penetration, Visa seller volume, market share, and data processing revenues.
  • Identifying Opportunities and Mitigate Risks: Focus on the development of medium-term account plans. Structure and model commercial deals that promote growth while identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
  • Inspiring and Leading: Build, lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and results-driven culture. Champion client-centricity, accountability, and continuous improvement to implement targeted go-to-market strategies to reach both traditional and new segments.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the pod, encouraging the team to share best practices, explore new technologies, and contribute to the agency's thought leadership.

Why this is important to Visa

By executing these priorities, Visa will further empower its clients to unlock new opportunities, accelerate growth, and maintain a competitive edge in an ever-evolving financial landscape.  The Head of Clients plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of payments and commerce, driving innovation while championing the needs of clients at every turn. This leadership is crucial to Visa’s mission of delivering exceptional value, cultivating lasting partnerships, and setting industry standards for excellence and reliability. Through strategic vision and collaborative execution, Visa continues to lead the way in transforming how businesses connect, transact, and thrive on a global scale.
