The Portfolio Operations function is a centralized team driving transparency, standards, and governance across the Global Product organization. We seek an experienced professional with a background in supporting large scale transformations, aligned to successful migrations within portfolio management/development tools (i.e., Jira Align, Jira), and strong capabilities in driving collaboration/change. We are seeking a passionate person that thrives in ability to step into complex/changing environments and bring consistency and standards to drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product, Technology, and other key business units to effectively document key needs/requirements and recommend options and ensure successful implementation of new tools/processes
  • Align with key stakeholders to ensure metrics & measurables are established that clearly indicate progress towards higher agility and product development best practices
  • Proactively identify process gaps, roadblocks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies that will negatively impact the adoption and best practice use of Jira Align capabilities to help determine creative solutions
  • Design and develop effective training materials for Jira Align to upskill users and ensure consistent usage of the application

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Experienced in defining requirements for and designing dashboards and reports for executive leadership.
  • Experience using PowerBI and/or Tableau to analyze data and identify insights.
  • Experience developing training materials including quick-reference guides, detailed step-by-step training, and short videos.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 5 or more years’ experience in large product/operational transformations assisting a product organization through the implementation of critical tools to support product portfolios/product development teams/work (i.e., Jira Align/Jira).
  • Knowledge of business data models, data quality, and data governance best practices.
  • Conceptual understanding of agile frameworks including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Have experienced working in a fast-paced environment navigating ambiguity successfully, most likely in product, product development, or large complex transformation initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively translate between business and technical requirements.
  • Experience operationalizing business processes through the usage of enterprise software
  • Ability to break down complex/ambiguous problems and drive to solution/synthesis.
  • Ability to distill and analyze, stakeholder input
  • Ability to clearly, concisely, and effectively organize and present information to stakeholders to engage and bring them along.
  • Detailed oriented and a self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple, cross-functional initiatives with overlapping timelines and deliverables.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to execute against plan.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 133,000.00 to 192,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
