Job Description

The Sr Manager – Commercial Solutions Lead (Sales)  – Mexico is responsible for accelerating B2B payments penetration & adoption in the markets by working with our Client Financial Institutions, Acquirers, Fintechs to expand our solutions for both the Small Business and the Large and Middle Market segments, B2B Verticals and new payment flows. . Establish, develop and manage the relationship between Visa and VCS Clients & Prospects,  setting direction, and implementation of country VCS strategies to achieve business targets through growing the existing business and through identifying new business opportunities
. Conduct competitive assessments to identify needs, gaps and commercial opportunities
. Identify key industry trends and develop sales action plans, enabling and delivering content and education to support internal and external clients and spread the B2B innovation narrative for the segment.


The individual will work with various stakeholders within the group as well as broadly within Visa to execute on his/her deliverables.


The Sr Manager, Commercial Solutions Lead (Sales)  – Mexico brings a deep real passion for collaboration and ecosystem building as well as technology and payments, a futurist view, ability to understand and assemble trends in the respective industries and deep understanding of the B2B payments landscape. She/He will drive co-creation and human center design engagements with Clients and partners in the market to co-develop innovative next generation solutions & proposals for companies of all sizes leveraging both our partners and Visa’s capabilities. She/He will work on highly complex issues leading multidisciplinary projects with minimal mentorship in a dynamic, ambiguous work environment, and will have the ability to independently translate high level mentorship into detailed deliverables. He/she will demonstrate good interpersonal skills and executive presence.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualfications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
. 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
. Candidate should bring at least 8 years of relevant experience in the Business payments space and/or wholesale/small business banking (cash management, supplier payments, invoice processing, electronic invoicing, supply-chain financing, procurement, treasury, financial operations, business travel, etc.)
. Ideally experience in the commercialization of solutions for businesses of all sizes and across Verticals / use cases
. Ideally product management or consulting/investment banking role
. Experience evaluating a technology landscape, preferably within payments and commerce
. Passion for technology, futurist view and intellectually curious
. Experience working in project-driven environments and matrix reporting
. Bilingual English/Spanish
