Job Description

What’s it all about?

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager for the EMEA region is a newly created role to help us define, execute, measure and refine a compelling top of the funnel revenue strategy for Visa Cross-Border Solutions, inclusive of Currencycloud brand. You will lead a team of 6 SDRs responsible for filling the pipeline with qualified leads that turn into revenue. You will be an inspirational leader who can drive results, but also adept at building a demand generation strategy that is presentable to a senior audience. Reporting to the Director of Sales Development, you will hold responsibility for the demand generation strategy and top of the funnel reporting for EMEA.

What we expect of you, day to day:

Demand Generation Strategy (approx. % of role breakdown – 25%) 

  • Working with regional marketing managers and sales consultants to support the creation of a demand gen strategy that meets regional targets
  • Researching prospects, target personas, and segment landscape to assist with lead scoring and more account based marketing
  • Building prospect target lists using business development tools
  • Build strategies using clear and defined KPIs and ROI. Specific campaigns that are built and delivered as part of the strategy should have trackable metrics and align with your overall strategic objectives
  • Own data management for prospecting 

Leadership (approx. 45% of role)

  • As an experienced leader, you will coach and lead your team to execute against your strategy and to continuously improve the quality and warmth of leads and opportunities
  • You’ll also help and mentor career growth across the team
  • Oversee the SDR playbook for moving leads through the funnel, and all processes that sit alongside it
  • Support EMEA SDRs and oversees SDR activity globally to facilitate the transfer of best practices
  • Lead by example with KPIs and prospecting
  • Manage performance of SDRs, ensuring they are hitting the targets you have set

Performance Reporting (approx. 30% of role)

  • Creating a reporting rhythm among SDRs, the wider marketing team, sales team and also at a senior leadership/executive level.
  • Managing the creation and delivery of all demand generation reporting
  • Working closely with the sales operations team, providing them with data to enable their wider sales reporting, and ensuring they are supporting marketing deliverables for reporting
  • Delivery of holistic demand generation activity, both outbound lead generation as well as working alongside the marketing manager to support inbound lead generation.
  • This will include building prospect lists, managing data, building campaigns within lead gen tools and the execution of those campaigns
  • It also includes any necessary follow up and qualification of leads as well as smooth handover to sales consultants.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

● Develop, manage and maintain excellent relationships with team and stakeholders
● Proven understanding of different demand generation, prospecting and sales development techniques
● Extensive experience in Salesforce and Hubspot
● Desired experience in other tools such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Cognism preferable
● Excellent communication & presentation skills.
● Excellent team working skills, ability to stay on top of multiple competing priorities and interact across departments.
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
● Understanding of the payment industry, tech background (SaaS) preferred
