Job Description
Visa IT Product Management team is looking for an individual with a technical mindset and an interest in product ownership to help us build world-class software solutions for our People (HR) Team and employees. This Technical Product Manager role includes the following responsibilities:
- Partner with business sponsors and business product managers to develop product strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct Product discovery to elaborate the requirement for solutions to user pain points
- Utilize industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the development of GenAI products for people function.
- Craft and maintain a dynamic product roadmap, ensuring the timely delivery of key milestones and game-changing deliverables
- Influence business stakeholders on the definition of product requirements.
- Run white-boarding sessions with business sponsors and SMEs to develop solutions for product requirements.
- Take high-level requirements and define detailed requirements for execution by the engineering teams.
- Partner with business sponsors, architects, and development leads to define product development plans and detailed roadmap.
- Play the role of Product Owner during the Agile planning and execution cycle.
- Be the product SME who provides requirements clarifications during the execution cycle.
- Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints to maximize business benefit.
- Engage with business partners on co-solutioning efforts and drive product adoption in general.
- Foster innovation, leverage new technologies, and champion impactful positive changes to the owned product portfolio.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong product management and business transformation experience in the People/HR domain.
- Functional, business process and integrations knowledge of people domain applications such as Workday, ADP, Smart recruiters, Fieldglass etc.
- Understanding of technical aspects of tools and systems, including software development and system architecture.
- Deep understanding of user experience principles to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using tools like Figma and Visio.
- Strong Agile product management skills and expertise in writing detailed user stories in tools like JIRA, Jira Align
- Excellent analytical skills, experience with data analytics, comfortable writing basic SQL queries, and using reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their applications in internal corporate products including products, technologies, concepts, tools, and platforms from companies such as OpenAI, Microsoft, Anthropic, Meta, IBM, Hugging Face, with a passion for innovation and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI.
- Knowledge of mobile app development as a product manager is a plus.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,700.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
