Job Description

Visa Direct facilitates domestic and cross-border money movement, enabling clients to collect, convert, hold and send funds to more than 11 billion cards, bank accounts and digital wallets across over 195 countries and territories. Visa Direct enables person-to-person (P2P) payments, account-to-account (A2A) transfers, funds disbursements (business and government payouts to individuals or small businesses), among other use cases.

 

The Manager will be a member of the Visa Direct Global Strategy & Operations team. The team plays a key role in shaping the multi-year strategy, leading strategic initiatives, and providing business insights for Visa Direct.  

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in exploring bold ideas and emerging trends to shape the Visa Direct vision and strategy
  • Contributing to strategic, cross-functional initiatives across a range of business growth areas, e.g., new client segments or business models, collaboration opportunities with other Visa products
  • Providing analytic and research support for critical business topics to identify issues and opportunities
  • Working on the articulation of the Visa Direct strategy to key internal and external audiences
  • Developing clear and concise executive-level communications

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

Other Qualifications
• Prior experience in payments ecosystem, management consulting or internal strategy teams preferred
• Proven self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets and formulate insights
• Eagerness to work in cross-functional, global teams to meet shared objectives
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, familiarity with Tableau preferred
