Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Manager of Operational Excellence to join our Global Talent team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to enhancing efficiency, speed, and collaboration within Global Talent. This role is responsible for overseeing and advancing our processes, ensuring agility, and optimizing our operational frameworks.
To thrive in the role, the individual must possess a strong understanding of corporate Talent Management, Learning and Development (preferably in a fast-paced technology organization), an employee-centric mindset, experience with adopting GenAI, and agile and analytical approach to workflow and process improvement. This person will be working closely with stakeholders, understanding their needs and processes, and focusing on continuous improvement within Visa University and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities (what) of this role:
- Assist in developing and maintaining end-to-end processes across Talent Management and Visa University to ensure sustainability and efficiency. Support efforts to document processes, manage changes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive adoption
- Support practical automation and augmentation of business processes with GenAI
- Work with various stakeholders to understand their needs and support the development of processes that enhance productivity and staff satisfaction. Help drive consensus and ensure teams are informed about new or updated standards
- Support the integration of various processes, such as design and delivery or business planning, ensuring seamless operations
- Support common platforms, tools, and standards for information and workflow management, aiming to provide seamless access to relevant and up-to-date information, such as, but not limited to, the VU book of work, pipeline of activities, portfolio of offerings, widely used tools, and best practices

- Ability to distill complex information into compelling, multi-format narratives.
- Experience with design and implementation of processes to create structure, simplify the complex, and rapidly execute.
- Experience and exposure with SharePoint, PowerApps, Vizio and other process and automation tools
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in business administration, organizational development, learning and development, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Project Management Certification such as PMP, PRINCE 2, LEAN, Agile CSM or CSPO and experience with project management tools e.g., Jira, MS Project, MS Planner
- Demonstrated experience in workflow and process improvement, standardization, and implementation, preferably in a Learning & Development environment
- Experience with Agile management practices, including working iteratively with cross-functional, self-managed teams and Agile coaching.
- Experience or certification in Change Management is preferred

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,900.00 to 153,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
