Job Description

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Client Engagement & Opportunity Development
  • Lead the account strategy, relationship management, and sales plan for key partnerships, orchestrating across internal and external stakeholders and ensuring focus and forward movement on top priorities
  • Identify and pursue partnership growth opportunities that provide step-function value, distribution channels, or new capabilities for Visa
  • Support sales teams in driving strategic positioning of partnerships, commercialization framework, working closely with different business units across Europe
  • Build new relationships with strategic players with the ultimate objective of agreeing areas of mutual beneficial value between Visa and potential partners
  • Partnership Strategy & Account Management:
  • Support the identification, qualification, and prioritization of partnership opportunities across the Nordic and Baltic markets
  • Develop and manage account plans, collaborating with internal experts to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and activate Visa leaders into account for critical support
  • Day-to-day client operations, in partnership with shared client team resources
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a central point of contact between clients and Visa’s product, solutions, and subject matter expert teams.
  • Align cross-functional teams on key initiatives including representation from Legal, Marketing, Product, Risk and Technology
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure partner implementations and existing business lines are growing and meeting mutual expectations
  • Market Intelligence & Growth
  • Conduct market and opportunity analysis to identify top opportunities
  • Contribute to thought leadership, internal presentations, and client-facing materials.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What we're after...

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Passion for sales and curiosity for financial services, in particular payments and technology.
  • Experience working in or with cross-functional, matrixed and multicultural teams.
  • A structured and energetic approach to getting work done. We like speed, but require quality as well.
  • Experience and credibility to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships, with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Proven financial acumen and fluency with numbers. Use data and analytics skills to drive insight.
  • Interest in partnerships and digital transformation within the payment industry. Ability to learn and apply a strategic understanding of the payments landscape and Visa.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or technology-driven organizations.
  • High standards of ethics and integrity towards employees, stakeholders and customers.
  • Data management and analytics skills
  • Fluent in one local language and English, both written and verbal
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel periodically as required
