Job Description
The Implementation Specialist provides project and technical support to customers adopting new or new-to-them Cybersource products from the Acceptance Solutions unit of VISA. After a thorough training program on Cybersource products and services, you'll be a part of a global team working with small and large customers to define, shape, and implement their technical project. The role will rely on your creativity and developer acumen to troubleshoot and solve our customers business challenges, developing robust solutions using the breadth and depth of the Cybersource product portfolio.

Our IS team takes their honed knowledge of how our clients actually use our products into a wide range of amazing roles within Visa.
- Build and execute implementation plans for Visa and CyberSource products.
- Configure APIs, endpoints, and platform integrations (e.g., Visa Platform Connect, Token Management Service).
- Conduct technical walkthroughs with clients to ensure infrastructure readiness and support technical integration projects, acting as a technical consultant.
- Perform testing and validation of integrations in sandbox and production environments.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and implementation logs.
- Use GenAI tools daily to improve productivity and execution speed.
- Act as technical liaison with client project teams, guiding them through integration and deployment.
- Provide technical support during onboarding and post-production handover.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve blockers and ensure smooth delivery.
- Identify and implement improvements based on incident root cause analysis.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to solution design for future projects.
- Support GenAI-first mindset and innovation culture within the team.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated technical implementation support in CNP, CP environments or Project Management experience in applicable areas
- Must have strong relationship management skills and experience and an ability to plan strategically
- Must be able to skilfully prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams, managing business and technical relationships
- Self-starter with strong organization and resolution management skills
- Must work well as a part of a team
- Must demonstrate strong complex problem solving capabilities
- Has competency in a technical skillset, such as networking principles or coding.
- Payment industry experience
- PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certification,
- Customer support experience
- Card-not-present, Card Present and risk mitigation methodology experience is strongly preferred.
- International banking knowledge, gained from merchant work experience.
- Coding or technical architecture experience
