Job Description

The Implementation Consultant provides project and technical support to customers adopting new or new-to-them Cybersource products. After a thorough training program on Cybersource products and services, you’ll be a part of a distributed team working with small and large customers to define, shape, and implement their technical project. The role will rely on your creativity and developer acumen to fix and solve our customer’s business challenges, developing robust solutions using the breadth and depth of the Cybersource product portfolio.

What You’ll Do, Day To Day.

  • Get hands-on with our products! There is no better way to learn how it works.
  • Use your Cybersource product knowledge to scope, refine, and shape the client’s project work. The Implementation Consultant can enable and inspire our clients.
  • Collaborate across the business to identify and develop additional opportunities, as they arise. That may be within the client’s environment, but it could be in ours.
  • Continue to develop your knowledge – the payments space is ever changing and the skills we need are evolving.
  • Provide ongoing technical expertise, guidance, and support to new and existing clients
  • Provide technical delivery & implementation expertise and engagement for the successful deployment of the Cybersource services
  • Create ‘trusted adviser’ relationships with our clients – set realistic expectations and keep their priorities close to hand.
  • Be a coach and mentor for your teammates, as no one person can know it all.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Payments or Risk experience is a plus, but we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Significant demonstratable experience of providing consultancy led engagement to top tier financial & technical clients across the SaaS environment.
  • Significant & active experience working as a sales engineer or software engineer in a technical and commercial environment
  • Experience of cross functional collaboration between technical, service delivery, support & commercial facing teams.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of intermediary level of programming & scripting skills (Java, PHP, C++/.NET, HTML etc.) for effective implementation of the CyberSource products & services.
  • Substantial experience in communicating technical concepts in a clear and articulate fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Confident speaker with ability to present, interact, and connect with executives and engineers
  • Natural ability to understand and articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong personal desire to improve and expand industry-related knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Fully fluent in mainstream software applications for writing, presentation, data management
  • A motivation to solve technical and business problems for clients.
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to manage workload to meet customer expectations
