Job Description

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Director is a leadership role in the VCA CIS-SEE region team to sell, deliver and track high impact projects to our top clients in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan). We are looking for a motivated individual who will lead a team of consultants responsible for delivery of consulting projects across multiple markets in the portfolio, digital, risk, and managed services space.

This role will be functionally focused on Digital topics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales and delivery of high impact VCA projects across the above-mentioned countries while resolving complex strategic problems and meeting business targets for clients
  • Proactively manage Client engagements in key markets to foster value-added services growth
  • Lead the planning and delivery of solutions and service line offerings into markets and clients under management, working with Solutions and Hub leaders to address client needs in the region  
  • Identify additional client project opportunities and lead the preparation of proposals for new client work
  • Lead the market strategy development for the covered markets in alignment with the Country Managers, Sr. Director, VP and the cross-function team
  • Lead the business development efforts to win new VCA clients, structure & execute the multi-year engagements program with these clients
  • Actively participate in developing Digital service line in Central Asia
  • Support CIS-SEE Consulting & Analytics leadership on project and practice economics, value-in-kind forecasts, burn rates, utilization, scorecards and to manage risk and quality of the project deliverables
  • Manage the team’s professional development and efficiency improvements
  • Synthesize and manage complex project structures when required, assignment objectives, project scope, budget and project delivery
  • Develop IP and knowledge sharing with consulting & data science teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients
  • Play a leadership role in talent recruitment, coaching and development of consultants
  • Evolve VCA staffing approach and build the right tools and processes to keep team members engaged, matching requirements with capabilities
  • Work together with other leaders in VCA that are covering markets to ensure consistency in the quality of delivery, pipeline management and alignment with the business goals of the countries.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in a financial services or consulting role (combination of consulting and banking experience is highly desirable)
• Experience driving Digital topics (mobile apps designs, digital acquisition, process automation etc) in a consulting or practitioner capacity
• A combination of local/regional and global experience in financial services is strongly desired
• Ability to develop strategies and activities to increase effectiveness of programs based on performance
• Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Relationship management skills – should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
• Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to develop superb client presentations
• Group facilitation and presentation skills
• A recognized Degree qualification (MBA is preferred)
• Able to travel frequently and work on client site for extended periods across the covered region
• Fluency in English mandatory. Additional language skills (particularly Russian, Kazakh, Uzbek, and other local languages) are preferred.
