Job Description

The Director of Risk & Identity Solutions (RAIS) Management will be a key member of North America Value Added Services (VAS) Product Office, which is accountable for financial and operational performance of Risk & Identity Solutions in North America.  This role will be specifically responsible for leading RAIS Solution Product Management for the Canadian market, working to understand the merchant, issuing and enabler product needs in Canada, and engaging cross-functionally to develop product roadmaps and effective go to market strategies.  This position will be based in Toronto.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns client solutioning for a set of verticals and product portfolios, including:

    • Supporting sales engineering and product teams in developing unique client solutions

    • Working with NA RAIS Issuing and Acceptance solution leads to prioritize product development needs spanning strategy, sales, client services, regulatory and localization factors

  • Owns perspective on RAIS product roadmap for Canadian market, market fit, key gaps, and opportunities for products in portfolio and owned vertical

  • Serves as primary point of contact for product leaders and sales teams (generalist, specialist, sales engineers) in understanding the client needs, products and vertical solution offerings for Canadian market

  • Participates and in some cases, leads pre-sales client discussions to whiteboard risk offerings ensuring client needs are understood and addressed by solutions.

  • Coordinates go-to-market activities for new products / capabilities across portfolio and North America (US/ Canada)

  • Owns strategic initiatives related to portfolio 

  • Builds business cases for new product development and feature enhancements

  • Support creation/design of new specific solutions that generate significant revenue contribution for the region and overall organization

  • Support the ongoing solution prioritization process for new, proposed initiatives to create fact-based assessments of the projects to provide recommendations for Executive Leadership

  • Develop and maintain regional solutions roadmap informed by the solution prioritization process and underlying product capability builds and specific project efforts

  • Thought leadership: You will continuously challenge the status quo, and you will be relentless in your focus to initiate and drive change.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
Experience in and (or) significant exposure to the risk & fraud in payments or operational roles at a payments company or risk roles at a bank, payfac or technology partner.
