Product Innovation and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product innovation strategy for the CEE region, aligned with Visa’s global objectives.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and localization efforts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the team and across the organization, encouraging creative thinking and continuous improvement.

Client Engagement and Support:

  • Collaborate closely with a major international banking group operating in CEE to understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Provide tailored product support and solutions to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations on product enhancements and new opportunities.

Market Development:

  • Drive market-specific initiatives to increase product engagement and usage, working closely with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Develop localized propositions that resonate with diverse customer segments across the CEE region.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Product Strategy and Scorecard

  • Define, implement, and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to align product innovation goals with Visa’s strategic priorities.
  • Regularly review and assess progress against Visa Scorecards and OKRs, making data-driven decisions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Communicate OKRs status and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders, providing transparency and accountability.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers and innovation specialists.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to share best practices, leverage resources, and align on strategic priorities.
  • Represent Visa at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, showcasing our commitment to product innovation and excellence.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

What we're after...

• Minimum 12 years of experience in payments, with significant expertise in product management and development, strategy consulting and execution.
• Passion for realizing opportunities and resolving issues in the payments industry.
• Proven track records in Product and Solutions selling and implementation experience to internal stakeholders or external clients.
• Global perspective and awareness of market differences and commonalities.
• Strategic and analytical thinker, demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly.
• Proven track records of high performance and recognized as a subject matter expert in business areas or products.
• An excellent team player and connector by nature with pronounced Hands-On mentality.
• Effective communicator, especially in teaching and influencing scenarios
• History of growing emerging businesses through strategy, innovation, development, and commercialization of new products and services.
• Results-oriented individual who challenges the status quo, to drive a culture of constant improvement.
• Knowledge of the payments business and or financial services (Retail Banking will be a plus) incl. innovation driving the digital banking and retail industries.
• Strong Problem-Solving & Story aligning skills.
• Ability to collaborate closely with multiple internal and external clients at various levels within the business.
• Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks.
• Willingness to travel internationally. Role will include domestic and international travel for merchant calls, conferences, and client meetings.
• Proficient in English presentation, negotiation, and socialization across key stakeholders.
