Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Director to own the end-to-end lifecycle of the High Net Worth (HNW) Visa Infinite product for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). You will be fully accountable for product strategy, execution, performance, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on managing every aspect of a product, from market analysis, roadmap, and launch to optimization and growth.

This role is ideal for a hands-on product manager who wants full accountability and impact, and who can drive the HNW Visa Infinite product to new levels of growth, relevance, and client satisfaction across markets in LAC.

This role reports to the LAC Consumer Product Senior Director.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Own full product lifecycle, including market research, business case, requirements, launch, and ongoing management.

  • Strategy Execution: Translate business goals into actionable product plans. Define and deliver the product roadmap, features, and enhancements based on customer and market needs.

  • Market Expansion: Tailor and execute go-to-market strategies for each LAC market, ensuring consistency and product excellence across the region.

  • Performance Accountability: Own product P&L. Track KPIs, analyze performance, generate insights, and take action to optimize uptake, usage, and profitability.

  • Stakeholder Management: Work cross-functionally with Technology, Benefits, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and external partners to deliver product initiatives on time and within scope.

Innovation: Seek and implement digital and experiential innovations that differentiate our HNW offering.

  • Client Engagement: Serve as product SME. Present to clients, represent the product at industry events, and gather direct client feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to continuously refine the product.

    This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications
    12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
    8+ years of product management experience (at least 5 years in payments and financial services - experience with HNW and affluent segments required).

    Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

    Proven track record of full lifecycle product ownership, including ideation, launch, and optimization.

    Strong commercial acumen: experience managing P&L, setting business goals, and driving measurable outcomes.

    Analytical mindset: skilled at using data and market analysis to inform decisions.

    Cross-functional leadership: experience delivering results in matrix global organizations.

    Excellent communication skills: able to influence stakeholders and clearly articulate product vision, requirements, and results.

    Languages: fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a strong plus.

    This is a highly visible leadership role that requires setting and driving the long-term vision for Visa's HNW value proposition, shaping our approach for affluent clients in current and future markets. The ideal candidate must be a highly influential leader, adept at partnering with global and regional stakeholders to define and execute strategies that ensure best-in-class experiences, sustained product growth, and market leadership.
