Job Summary

Visa’s Global Sponsorship and Experiential team is seeking a strategic and collaborative professional to lead the management of its Gaming partnerships. This role will oversee property execution and act as the sponsorship subject matter expert for key client relationships. Additionally, this person will help drive Visa’s emerging Gaming sponsorship vertical, shaping and executing related strategies and activations.

 

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player and will become a recognized leader both internally and externally. This role requires close collaboration with Visa stakeholders, agency partners, and clients to manage annual rights and maximize the impact of Visa’s global sponsorships. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as this role will interface directly with partners. The candidate will also lead asset management, contractual deliverables, and the development of activation campaigns across the Gaming space.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Property Management

Lead Visa’s global strategy for Gaming sponsorships.

Oversee day-to-day management of key properties, ensuring execution aligns with brand goals and contractual obligations.

Act as the liaison to partners and properties, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.

Provide thought leadership in identifying and evaluating new Gaming sponsorship opportunities.

Serve as a subject matter expert on sponsorship strategy, rights management, and global activation planning.

 

Client Engagement and Activation

Partner with client marketing and product teams to leverage sponsorship platforms for joint business growth.

Lead the development of innovative activations that bring Visa’s brand to life in Gaming environments.

Ensure effective integration of sponsorship assets into client and consumer marketing plans.

Design and lead scalable monetization models that enable Visa clients to activate through Gaming partnerships—turning branded assets into co-investment and payment growth platforms.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Visa’s global brand, content, media, and digital teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with regional sponsorship leads to ensure global alignment and local market relevance.

Manage external agency teams to support execution, creative development, and performance tracking.

 

Measurement and Optimization

Define KPIs and measurement strategies to evaluate sponsorship performance.

Provide executive reporting, insights, and recommendations to inform future investments and improve ROI.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

Deep knowledge of Gaming trends.

Background in marketing or a related business field.

Strong project management and multitasking skills.

Experience in global sports or entertainment is a plus.

Proven experience in global or high-profile sponsorship programs from strategy through execution.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including experience interfacing with senior leaders and external partners.

Strong strategic thinking, creative vision, and business acumen.

Ability to navigate a matrixed, global organization.

Comfortable with occasional travel, including international trips.

Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 169,100.00 to 245,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
