Job Description

Visa is seeking an experienced enterprise sales professional to join a high performing UK&I Strategic Account team responsible for one of our largest Issuing clients as a Director, Senior Account Executive. The individual will focus on building and executing our Fraud, Risk & Authentication pipeline. This role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand our relationships within the bank’s Risk, Fraud, Disputes and Authentication and Payments teams across all bank business units. Managing the ongoing needs of the bank and providing guidance to internal teams to ensure the highest quality customer service on all matters ranging from strategic to executional. Having a pro-active, solutions-oriented mindset will be a distinct advantage.
  • Drive forward the sales strategy and pipeline of Risk, Fraud, Disputes and Authentication solutions into the bank, and deliver net new sales revenue for Visa. Lead Visa’s response to bank issued RFPs for Risk, Fraud and Authentication products and services.
  • Establish fluency in Visa’s Risk, Fraud, Disputes and Authentication products and solutions. Articulate issuer needs and influence product/capability road maps by leveraging their feedback, endeavouring to work together as One Visa.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and bank stakeholders to maintain auth rates, optimise disputes processes, and minimise fraud on the Visa rails.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the UK/Global Risk, Fraud, Disputes and Authentication landscape, be adept at communicating new trends to the bank.
  • Co-ordinate with colleagues in Visa’s Ecosystem Risk function on matters related to fraud, scams and disputes.
  • Partner with our marketing and communication teams to position Visa as a leader in the payments industry.
  • Continuously review market landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new creative approaches to growing the Visa business, improving our bank client P&L, and improving customer experience in relation to risk and fraud. And act as a mentor within the account team for your area of expertise.
  • Embed yourself in the wider account team and drive forward a positive culture of openness, diversity of thought, inclusivity, and accountability.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and also as part of the wider account team.
  • Strong business development and consultative sales experience, with the ability to educate a wide range of stakeholders on Visa’s capabilities, clearly business oriented and able to push business development and produce business cases.
  • Demonstrable history of developing and nurturing new client relationships leading to positive business outcomes.
  • Strong financial acumen and outcome oriented, ability to negotiate business agreements, delivering improved terms for Visa
  • Experience in effectively creating and confidently delivering presentations to senior stakeholders. Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting / problem solving skills.
  • Specialist Risk, Fraud, Authentication expertise is a plus.
