Job Description

Visa Issuing Solution team is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to be part of a world-class team of software and systems engineers to deliver client-ready solutions by building the next generation of systems, automation and tools to support overall productivity and developer efficiencies. You will be part of strategy, vision and technical leadership to ensure engineering teams are building products that use a foundational approach that prioritizes high availability and security.

Your ability to work across functions and teams will allow you to drive results and foster the right culture and environment to achieve Engineering Excellence and Innovation. You will be responsible for working with product development, quality engineering, security engineering, enterprise operations and other internal and external technology partners to deliver products for business integration & enablement. 

Qualifications

  • Graduating in 2026 from Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer applications and its related field, looking to start working in the spring or summer 2026.  
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Java, C++, Ruby or Python. 
  • Experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Artifactory, Service Now, Sonar.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns. 
  • Experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and or infrastructure development and administration.
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Concepts, Service Oriented Architectures, Distributed Systems Design Concepts and Computer Science fundamentals.
  • Knowledge and experience with AWS, Azure.
  • Knowledge and experience with K8.
  • Knowledge Infrastructure (Linux, windows), Networking.
