  • Develop, gather, and disseminate technical information through an organization’s communications channels.
  • Work with technical staff to make products and instructions easier to use.
  • Incorporate animation, graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the material.
  • Standardize content across platforms and media.
  • Collect user feedback to update and improve content.
  • Work with computer hardware engineers, computer support specialists, and software developers to manage the flow of information among project workgroups during development and testing, and so must be able to understand and discuss complex information with people of diverse occupational backgrounds.
  • Manage the consistency of technical content and its use across departments including product development, manufacturing, marketing, and customer relations.
  • Own the full processes for the B2B media run by Visa and help manage and QA all data ingestion and data visualization that will be updated on a weekly basis.
  • Once dashboards are generated, gather user feedback and work to optimize information and visualizations accordingly.
  • Lead in generating publications and deliverables for internal stakeholders that will come in various digital forms.
  • Assist in checking dashboard connections, communicating with internal and external partners/stakeholders, and building strategies for improvements in processes and driving business goals.
  • Leverage multiple data visualization tools and multiple analytical programs that allow for inclusion of coding language.
  • Work closely with technology teams to transform business and data insight delivery and data publications, improving the product marketing organization’s ability to supervise and optimize performance.
  • Assist in checking dashboard connections, communicating with internal and external partners/stakeholders, and building strategies for improvements in processes and driving business goals.
  • Communicate with technical staff to improve dashboard functionality and driving improvements in user interface.
  • Improve operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives that build efficiency, remove obstacles, or build streamlined processes with the ultimate goal in generating global consistency to the dashboard publications of B2B Data.
  • Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Communications, Statistics or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related occupation.

Additional Information

Worksite:  Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $125,500.00 to $194,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
