Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
As part of the Nordics & Baltics VCA team, you will support leading financial institutions, fintechs, and merchants across Sweden and the broader region. You will work closely with experienced consultants to deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that help clients unlock growth opportunities, optimize performance, and navigate the evolving payments landscape. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects, from market entry strategies to digital transformation and risk management, providing a unique platform to develop your consulting and analytics skills in a dynamic, international environment.
What it's all about..
- Play an integral role on a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients in the Nordics
- Complete consulting engagements with other team members, including participating in interviews, analyzing confidential client data, and summarizing key findings
- Conduct industry research and identify internal and external data resources to create custom analytics
- Complete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data
- Develop client-specific presentations which address executive needs and deliver presentations to clients and internal Visa partners
- Play an integral role in the development of new consulting solutions and materials to train VCA team members
- Monitor industry trends and contribute to the development of whitepapers on the impact to clients
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (Tuesday - Thursday), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
What we'd like from you -
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience, ideally from consulting, payments, or financial services.
- Payment industry, digital payments or payment processing experience preferred.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail that leverages multiple sources of information.
- Able to understand and start to disaggregate problem statement into distinct pieces of analysis.
- Use and adapt templates for unique client scenarios, optimizing structure to demonstrate + articulate key messages.
- Ability to execute quantitative & qualitative analysis with some guidance.
- Basic takeaways from the data + starting to craft storyline; ensure data quality + leverage data to support decision-making in project management.
- Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt.
- Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools.
- An interest in learning advanced analytics tools (SAS, R, Tableau, etc.).
- An interest in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus.
- An affinity for payments technology, FinTech and digital.
