Job Description

What It's all About: 

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The Consultant Sr. Manager will play a key role in supporting the growth and influence of the strategy and innovation advisory practice across markets in the Latin America and the Caribbean region (LAC). This role involves supporting Visa’s clients and partners in formulating their business transformation strategy, supporting go to market and expansion opportunities, progressing on business ventures and fostering an environment of constant innovation. To accomplish this, the ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting advisory engagements through the entire cycle, from assessing the client's needs and maturity to delivering comprehensive roadmaps and facilitating the necessary change management.

Specific scope of work and responsibilities includes:

  • Lead and execute consulting projects across key strategic topics such as business transformation, go-to-market strategies, and innovation, supporting the development of a robust project pipeline with Visa’s clients in the region.

  • Develop methodologies, frameworks, and implementation approaches to evaluate clients’ strategic positioning, define priorities, and guide execution.

  • Conduct robust business case analyses using data-driven and quantitative approaches, including opportunity sizing, scenario projections, and digital insights.

  • Produce and deliver thought leadership materials, including key industry trends, emerging topics, case studies, and participate as a subject matter expert in relevant industry forums.

  • Identify, assess, and integrate strategic partners—including startups and technology firms—to enhance advisory capabilities and support request for proposals.

  • Develop and facilitate tailored training sessions and workshops on strategic trends and emerging technologies, such as AI, to upskill clients and internal teams.

  • Continuously research, test, and incorporate emerging capabilities to anticipate client needs and ensure projects remain cutting-edge.

  • Share and apply best practices and project learnings across LAC and global markets to strengthen the overall Strategy practice.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

What we'd like from you: 

· Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.

· Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, and marketing initiatives.

· Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor.

· Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.

· Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.

· Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization.

· Experience in several key payments business areas, such as portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations, risk management, for both credit and debit cards.

· Experience using financial indicators to measure business performance with a significant focus on impacting return on investment.

· Ideal candidate will have payments and consulting experience

•Fluency in English and Spanish required, Portuguese is a plus.
