Team Summary:
The Business Development Team is responsible for driving opportunities, growing revenue, and building relationships primarily with our Financial Institution clients. The team collaborates closely with all cross-functional teams to provide business solutions, products, and services to our clients.

What a Business Development Manager does at Visa:
The Business Development Manager at Visa is responsible for providing first-class support to the Senior Business Development Manager in leading Visa’s engagement of key clients, identifying new revenue opportunities, managing contractual obligations, and ensuring clients are equipped with the best and most relevant Visa products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage selected Visa Financial Institution clients, providing dedicated client relationship support.
- Build, solidify, and foster client relationships across various business functions.
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to grow client and Visa business.
- Understand and align client strategies to Visa’s while working with cross-functional teams to address clients’ needs with relevant Visa products and services.
- Conduct disciplined account planning to meet and exceed goals, and implement strategic initiatives.
- Represent Visa to clients and partners, promoting thought leadership and market vision.

This role serves as a key point of contact for Visa's financial institution clients, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive impactful opportunities that align with Visa and clients' strategic priorities.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in sales and/or relationship management roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Possess analytical and ability to navigate ambiguity and identify and execute solutions.
- Results-oriented team player. Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a multi-functional, challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English.
What will also help:
- Experience and knowledge of the Hong Kong payment market and industry trends.
- Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin.
- Experience with strategic planning and implementation.
