The Associate Treasury Analyst joins a dedicated team who support a variety of critical responsibilities which ensures global financial settlement and reconciliations between Visa Inc., and the Client and partner Networks are performed Monday through Friday.  The primary responsibilities for this position: perform assigned daily Visa and Debit Processing Services Settlement funds transfer payment instruction setups, provide prompt investigation, detailed issues analysis and appropriate resolutions and or escalations.  Timeliness and accuracy are imperative.  This position allows daily functions to be mastered as well as the opportunity to periodically perform other functions of the team over time.  In addition, this position requires demonstrated significant growth over time to understand the business and the technology used to perform their functions and those of the team. The Associate Analyst will perform business analysis: actively participate in strategic initiatives, lead and support business, and systems enhancement initiatives directly affecting their area of daily responsibilities.

Essential Functions

  • Primary daily responsibility is to perform timely and error free payment instruction setup inclusive of execution, research, analysis, documentation, issues resolution, reporting and appropriate escalation
  • Perform Settlement Funds Transfer execution functions as needed with accuracy, timeliness, and appropriate escalation
  • Assigned functions include but are not limited to Visa Direct Payouts, Visa B2B Connect, Visa Payments Limited, Visa International Settlement Service and Treasury as a Service products
  • Manage report requirements, generation, and delivery in support of assigned functions
  • Perform data research and analysis to discover trends, uncover issues, support hypothesis, provide management information and make recommendations
  • Demonstrate capability to think globally and strategically, turn information into insights, and drive results as well as be comfortable working many issues simultaneously and flexibility and ability to quickly prioritize amongst them
  • Be self-motivated, and demonstrate the ability to influence, negotiate and communicate effectively across functional lines to ensure all stakeholders needs are included and met
  • Collaborate for continuous development of self and team in understanding intricate technical details of payment systems business, transaction data, routing, reconciliation, and settlement funds transfers
  • Prepare Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, to manage issues and or perform analysis, document issues and recommendations. Assist in the preparation of departmental presentations, training materials and procedures

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience
• Business or Accounting Bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree with 2 - 4 years of work experience
• Highly dependable and dedicated to team, ensure accuracy and great attention to detail with ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with frequently changing priorities
• Ability to prioritize daily work and communicate effectively with peers and management when processes need improvement or resolution.
• Collaborate for continuous development of self and team

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Must make themselves available during core business hours of 6AM to 3PM and including US holidays when assigned.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 62,000.00 to 87,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
