Qualifications

• You will bring at least a year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 2-3 years of experience in a heavy industrial background.

• Ability to read, comprehend and write in English.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders 60-125 meters in height, ability to lift, push/pull, carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight, and the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to grip and manually manipulate, often with repetitive motion, items such as, but not limited to, hand tools, turbine parts and comfort working in confined spaces and at heights over 100 meters.
• Ability to effectively participate in all training courses, including high-angle rescue and training.
• Periodic walking, ability to hear and use close range radios, and having efficient field of vision including visual depth perception and ability to distinguish colors.
• Able to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions.
• Comfortable working remotely with limited supervisory interaction.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this intermediate- level position, you'll use your skills and training to perform maintenance and/ or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision. You will be provided with defined schedules and procedures including safety protocol, verbal/ written instructions, but you may provide mentorship to entry-level technicians. During a typical day, you may be working 250+ feet above the ground or working in small spaces to perform maintenance and repairs. You'll be outside, and sometimes the weather isn't great. You'll be climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts to complete your work. Teamwork is a priority here, and our reputation for professionalism, safety and attention to detail are important to our customers. We also encourage recommendations to improve the safety and quality of our work.
