Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Location(s); Brighton, CO

Salary: $80,000-$100,000

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Implement Logistics strategy for regional factories

• Control inventory levels to support production and lower working capital

• Secure that all material is available to fulfill the production plan

• Interface with Global Logistics Services team in Chennai

• Monitor inbound freight performance of critical supply items

• Support tactical supply chain management improvement activities

• Implement cost out initiatives in cooperation with Sourcing organization

• Identify and implement supply chain optimization strategies

• Define purchasing levels (make/buy)

• Coordinate continuous improvement activities and projects

• Develop key factory performance metrics in terms of supply chain performance: OTD, inventory reduction and freight spend

• Ability to influence across organizational boundaries / with significant focus on working with & understanding different cultures

• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

• Experience working with suppliers and achieving results to meet company schedules

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or a combination of related experience and education

• Minimum 4+ years working in Global Supply Chain networks

• Background in planning and procurement activities to support manufacturing environment

• Working knowledge of global, multi-modal freight and logistics solutions

• Lean experience; VSM, Kanban, 5S

• Detailed and in-depth background of MRP and Enterprise Systems - preferably SAP

• Ability to establish targets and translate them into actionable plans

• Ability to work with people, to assist by influence and by motivating and empowering

• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and accept new ideas and changing initiative

Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and SAP)

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to effectively participate in a cross-functional team

• Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions

• Ability to establish targets and translate them into actionable plans

• Ability to work with people, to promote by influence and by motivating and empowering
