Senior Tax Analyst

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will provide strategic tax guidance and technical expertise to internal business partners across the enterprise. You'll support the development and review of tax policy, advise on regulatory matters, and contribute to risk management efforts.

In this role, you'll oversee a book of business focused on Accounts Payable and Personal Investor, including account opening, due diligence, and cost basis issues. You'll serve as a trusted resource, helping business partners interpret and apply tax rules in alignment with regulatory expectations and firm objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic advice to internal business areas and tax departments to ensure practices and procedures comply with applicable federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
• Leads and handles annual tax compliance monitoring and inspections to align corporate objectives with regulatory risk levels. Partners with management to plan, develop, and execute short and long-term goals.
• Identifies priorities, elevates issues, and present key findings to business and Global Tax management. Recommends and implements solutions, ensures issues are resolved.
• Provides technical support in the development of relevant tax policies. Proactively tracks the legislative and regulatory landscape for tax related developments, provide updates to clients and management.
• Ensures operations run efficiently and with proficiency. Set measurable goals and examines ways to raise standards, increase quality and improve performance.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

• 5 -7 years of experience in tax, compliance, or financial services.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; a graduate degree preferred.
• CPA is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code as it applies to information reporting and tax withholding.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and implement regulations to i ntricate business scenarios.
