As the Senior Manager for the Workplace Solutions RFP team, you will define the vision and roadmap for the strategic communication channel that is the RFP. This role requires a strategic thinker with advanced communication and writing skills who understands the needs of sponsors and consultants within the full-service recordkeeping industry. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for this position. Responsibilities
- Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Anticipates changing business needs and influences strategic initiatives that ensures the sales teams provide service that exceeds client and prospect expectations.
- Works across departments and divisions to maximize material that is leveraged by sales executives for clients and conferences.
- Creates and maintains the sales process and methodology for consistent scalable solutions.
- Shares best practices across the enterprise for continuous process and quality improvement initiatives that enable the sales experience.
- Influences cross-functional teams to meet business plan objectives and desired outcomes.
- Develops and recommends changes to policies or workflows to meet changing business needs.
- Provides expertise on the various connected aspects of sales technologies and process management.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes
- Eight years related work experience. Five years prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
- Exceptional strategic thinking abilities.
- Full-service recordkeeping experience required.
- Experience producing client-facing copy and content, particularly related to the RFP process, preferred.
