Our Strategic Planning team's core purpose is to be a trusted advisor for Vanguard Workplace Solutions' leadership team across divisional planning and governance efforts. We help our leaders set the long-term vision, develop the annual business plan, align technology investments, and track progress toward divisional objectives and key results. We are hiring Senior Analyst(s) on our team that will play a lead role in shaping the future of our business. A keen understanding of the industry paired with a strategic mindset and strong communication skills help us deliver valuable support to our division's senior-most leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and leads complex strategic, competitive, and product analysis in support of forward-looking planning and intra-year governance efforts. Consults independently to define business problems, issues, and planned approach for remediation.
  • Leads work planning and end-to-end process execution, coaching less experienced analysts in best practices and building business/technology acumen. Manages stakeholder relationships and anticipates needs.
  • Synthesizes analysis, key findings, and solutions into actionable insights and recommendations. Works with senior managers in the business to prepare and deliver materials including presentations, memos, dashboards, etc.
  • Interprets and analyzes highly sophisticated data using business and/or technology acumen in order to derive key insights. Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data. Displays, coordinates, and crafts data into a compelling storyline with actionable insight for the business.
  • Stays abreast of industry, market, and business competitive trends. Supports efforts to keep the senior management team informed of key industry, competitive, and product trends. Recommends new and enhanced capabilities and services.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of related work experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. MBA or graduate degree preferred.
  • Strong executive presence, verbal and written communications skills. Proven ability to present and facilitate discussions with senior management. Excellent relationship skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to extract meaningful insights from analysis and create compelling visuals that tell a story.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite required, data visualization software (i.e., Tableau) a plus.
  • Business and technology consulting, or analytical/financial experience preferred.
