Junior Cloud Security Engineer

Provides intermediate level technical support designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security platforms. Identifies, resolves, or escalates security platform issues.

• Implements, and deploys security platforms to support and mitigate security threats, risks and technology vulnerabilities. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.

• Provides intermediate level technical support and monitors security technologies efficiency through the use of monitoring tools and applications. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms.

• Develops technical standards, testing, log analysis and vulnerability assessments; evaluating and recommending on procedures used to mitigate risks.

• P rovid es guidance and consultation to IT project teams as required . Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with global teams, along with the ability to clearly document and communicate technical issues and solutions.

• Provide s hands-on support and engineering across identity and security platforms , c ollaborat ing with global teams to ensure resilient, secure operations .

• Demonstrates a readiness to learn, adaptability to new technologies , and an interest in security and professional development within engineering or design roles.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Participate in on-call rotations and follow-the-sun support for critical systems

• Minimum of 1-3+ years related work experience, with at least one year of development experience.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Exposure to Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms, a plus!

• Familiarity with security operations and incident response

• Understanding of Client Identity standards and regulatory considerations in financial services

• Identity platforms (e.g. Okta)

• Cloud security ( e.g. AWS, Wiz)

• SIEM tools (Splunk, Elastic)

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ OpenTofu )

• Scripting (Python)
