Welcome to HR Communications-a highly collaborative team responsible for providing global crew with the information they need to navigate HR services, programs, and processes. In this role, you'll take primary ownership of ensuring our global HR intranet (in ServiceNow) is well-organized, easily searchable, relevant to the target audience, and governed appropriately. You'll collaborate with the team's communication specialists and key partners across HR--as well as use generative AI tools--to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, well-written, and aligned to Vanguard style. You'll also work with HR's UX team and IT partners to ensure we're delivering an engaging and streamlined content experience to all crew. Finally, you'll lean into additional content channels/technologies, as needed, to support execution of HR's communication strategies.

- Proven experience working in ServiceNow, particularly with knowledge management.
- Proven experience managing a complex network of digital knowledge.

- Strong collaboration across departments and regions. This role will be expected to attend occasional meetings outside normal working hours to collaborate with partners around the globe.

Responsibilities
- Creates in-depth, compelling communications and positioning on a range of subjects, including Vanguard funds, products, and services; financial markets; the economy; regulatory matters; portfolio construction and theory, and internal communication topics.
- Displays versatility in producing clear communications through a wide range of styles and channels, including responsive web pages, campaigns, ads, emails, presentations, blogs, videos, letters, articles, videos, and social media channels.
- Presents and "sells" content and design solutions to senior management, project teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assumes a leadership role on key projects for the department that require data analytics and subject matter expertise, including responsive web pages, timely communications, campaigns, visioning, testing, and news.
- Provides creative direction and guidance on messaging and/or content strategy across mediums-working closely and collaboratively with designers, developers, marketing managers, and business leaders. Informs department's processes by identifying recurring issues for future improvements.
- Serves as mentor to less experienced writers by providing specific feedback on their copy, story ideas, new media formatting, and interviewing skills.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
