We are seeking a strategic and results-driven project manager to lead and consult on complex project implementations for fund events within our Investment Management Group (IMG). This role plays a critical part in managing high-impact initiatives, optimizing end-to-end processes, and aligning project outcomes with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, a keen eye for identifying improvement opportunities, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Leads or consults on a portfolio of complex process improvements and implementations on behalf of subdivisions with a focus on investment products.
- Manages projects or multiple work streams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks while also aiding to uncover improvement opportunities, including product and process ownership and governance, and key performance indicators.
- Supports and grows various programs and understands the end-to-end process design, systems used, and process capabilities by investment-focused subdivisions; supports goals and monitors performance with help from the product and process owners; acts as a division-wide process subject matter expert.
- Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure projects are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
- Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related project issues. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
- Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
- Acts as a gatekeeper for the continuous improvement pipeline; tracks progress and provides updates to the appropriate parties. Constructs business cases, inclusive of ROI/opportunity space assessment, as appropriate to support prioritization of critical projects at the divisional level.
- Measures the effectiveness of the executed projects and performs other analyses of data to measure the department's progress towards its strategic goals. Ensures that all plans developed and implemented are aligned with and in support of corporate objectives and department goals. Establishes clear success measures for each initiative and measures progress relative to those success measures.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and function-specific experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
- Experience with multi workstream, high visibility project management
- Proven track record of learning technical topics quickly
- Executive level written communication experience
