Business Program Manager, Senior Specialist
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative program manager to join the Transformation Management Office (TMO) within the FAS (Financial Advisor Services) division. The TMO partners with the FAS leadership team to establish and execute on divisional, cross-functional, priorities as we rapidly evolve how we operate within the division, and how we go-to market and engage with advisors. This role supports an Executive Workstream Sponsor responsible for delivering on their roadmap, and stated outcomes, in partnership with you, their Workstream Lead.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the B2B space, along with the ability to develop strong relationships across the enterprise, and get up to speed quickly to navigate the organization effectively. Success in this role requires being a credible thought partner, someone who can influence, and evolve the thinking of senior stakeholders to shape the strategy moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Manage programs or major workstreams of a broader program. Ensure that the scope of the program aligns with business priorities and that business value is properly measured for prioritization.
- Develop and maintain broad knowledge and awareness of Financial Services industry forces, competition, and trends to act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor financial, legal, and other regulatory environments to ensure projects are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
- Communicate with stakeholders, leaders, team members, management, and department partners to ensure that requirements and priorities are understood. Monitor project progress and results and submit regular status reports to management and internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the development and execution of business change management and communication plans.
- Build and maintain relationships across program stakeholders and proactively foster effective communication between internal and external parties. Drive key decisions to ensure alignment with overarching goals across stakeholders.
- Ensure all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintain control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements. Maintain an appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to support program implementation.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years related business experience. Financial Services and function-specific experience required. Minimum of four years project management experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
- "Nice to have": Knowledge of the FAS business.
