Associate Product Manager, Specialist

An exciting opportunity is now available for an Associate Product Manager Specialist to join our Manchester team, where your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital products within the financial services sector. This role offers you the chance to work within a team dedicated to enhancing client experiences and facilitating positive transformation through technology and design. You will be entrusted with contributing your insights, collaborating with colleagues, and advancing your professional development. This role Support the management and roadmap for a digital product, demonstrating an understanding of the digital product(s) and associated business areas. Digital products often have departmental implications.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Supports digital product management services on Onboard, developing functional expertise, understanding of client onboard journeys, to improve digital product results.
2. Collaborates with a small cross-functional team of technology and design to understand client need and drive change to the client experience.
3. Supports digital product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
4. Raises client needs with the Product Manager / Product Lead and provides input to inform the product strategy.
5. Assists with planning, development and implementation of a new product.

6. Supports analysis of markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
7. Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrable experience of managing products within financial services or function-specific environments is highly desirable.
• Experience working with user-facing digital products, such as client onboarding preferred.
• Practical knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Strong stakeholder management
• Excellent organisation and time management
• Practical knowledge of agile delivery methodology, namely Scrum
• Strong analytical mindset and comfortable with data, generating evidence to inform key prioritisation decisions

• This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the Manchester office Tuesday-Thursday.
