Electrical Program Manager

What this job involves: This position is responsible for managing and executing comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance programs for critical facility operations, with a focus on data center environments. The role requires balancing customer requirements with company strategies while ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance operations, working closely with internal teams and external clients to maintain high performance standards and customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day tasks will include: • Complete assigned preventative and corrective maintenance utilizing appropriate resources and balancing customer requirements with company strategies • Determine and facilitate usage of internal and external resources required for maintenance operations • Own, manage and implement preventative and corrective maintenance schedules to meet or exceed customer requirements • Provide ongoing updates to internal teams and customers regarding maintenance status and progress • Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of electronic or digital control systems • Oversee document management processes to ensure procedures and standards are established and maintained • Capture customer impacting and non-customer impacting events for proactive problem and incident management (PIM) • Establish Key Performance Indicators and Key Factors for Measurement and Verification phases • Provide proposals for retrofits, upgrades and enhancements to existing equipment

Desired experience and technical skills: • Five (5) years of experience in facility management or related field • Expert knowledge of Data Center Operations and System configurations • Knowledge of building infrastructure systems • Working knowledge of typical mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems associated with Critical Environments • Ability to diagnose complex control systems and write modifications in multiple software languages • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent field of study or equivalent work experience • Must have demonstrated proficiency for all responsibilities of a Critical Facilities Engineer • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio) and working knowledge of SharePoint • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong team building and training skills • Physical ability to walk job sites in uneven terrain • Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime as required, and be "on call" 24x7 for emergency situations • Ability to work in potentially hazardous environments with noise, moving parts, electrical and combustion equipment

Preferred: • Five (5) years of experience in critical electrical industry • Professional affiliations (24x7, IFMA, Data Center Pulse) • EPA Certification and contractor's license
