We are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our dynamic Finance Team here at Unum.

This is an excellent time to join us as we execute our growth strategy and optimise the way we work across the Finance area. We are looking for a motivated self-starter, with a passion for reporting, strong communication skills and a desire to develop in their career.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of high quality financial reporting on all accounting bases (US GAAP, UK GAAP and Solvency II), that communicates our results effectively both externally and to our US Group team.
Reporting into our Head of Financial Reporting, you will interact with and have exposure to our CFO, executives and senior management across the company, as well as the US Group Finance team.

You will ensure that the team has strong leadership and coaching. Focusing on training and development of junior members and yourself.

What will you bring?

  • Qualified accountant with significant post Qualified Experience (Ideally ACA, ACCA)
  • Strong Financial services industry reporting experience (insurance preferred), including production of management information on actual performance against comparative periods and plan.
  • Highly analytical, capable of challenging financial information and explaining differences between reporting bases.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with colleagues of all levels, including senior stakeholders.
