Unum Technology Centre in Carlow serves as a strategic software development and IT services centre supporting Unum, a leading provider of income protection in the US. Our team of IT professionals build solutions and critical business applications to digitally transform the way we do business.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Partner to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with hands on employee relations expertise who thrives in a progressive organisation and team, passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. We are flexible on working hours and schedule.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with leaders to drive talent and engagement strategies delivering HR initiatives and programs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
- Provide coaching and HR expertise for managers on the employee, performance, and engagement experience.
- Support organisational change initiatives and associated policy, procedures, and processes.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and HR centre of excellence teams in the US and UK.
- Collaborate with leaders on employee development, engagement and organisational design.
- Collaborate with external partners to offer a positive and inclusive employee experience.

What You Bring:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Expertise in employee relations, coaching, and development
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience in change management and program delivery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
