Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Support: Address and resolve issues escalated from the L1 team
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents that require more in-depth technical knowledge, including detailed troubleshooting and analysis
  • Monitoring Systems: Continuously monitor the performance of IT systems and applications, ensuring that any potential issues are identified and addressed proactively, monitor splunk and create reports as needed
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all incidents, including the steps taken to resolve them. This can help in resolving future issues and contributes to the knowledge base
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in Application support, Monitoring and Maintenance
  • Experience in incident management
  • Experience with monitoring and management tools
  • Solid knowledge of ITSM and processes
  • Proven solid analytical skills
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proven ability to understand technical terminology and ability to quickly learn and understand technical information
