Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical support and expertise during the API onboarding process
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly
  • Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive API documentation, including integration guides, best practices, and troubleshooting manuals
  • Training: Develop and conduct advanced training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams on API usage and integration techniques
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex API-related issues, enhancing overall integration processes
  • Technical Analysis: Perform technical analysis to evaluate the feasibility, performance, and security of API solutions. Identify potential technical challenges and work with development teams to address them
  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement in API services and onboarding procedures
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in API development, integration, or support
  • 2+ years in a senior or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior team members
  • Solid understanding of API security best practices and protocols
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and API management platforms (e.g.Postman)
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for API development, such as Python, Java, or Node.js
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Communication: Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and resolving complex API-related issues
  • Customer Service: Proven commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support, with a focus on building long-term client relationships

Preferred Qualification:

  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., API management, cloud computing)
