Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sales Cloud - Opportunity, Campaign, Account, Contact management
  • Salesforce Administration - Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards
  • Apex Programming - Classes, Triggers, Batch, Queueable, Exception Handling
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC) - Component development, Event handling, Data binding
  • Salesforce Flows - Record-triggered, Screen, Scheduled flows
  • API Integrations - REST, SOAP, Named Credentials, Remote Site Settings
  • Platform Events & CDC - Real-time data sync and event-driven architecture
  • Testing - Apex Test Classes, Test Script Review, QA Collaboration
  • Documentation - Technical Design Docs, Code Reviews, Deployment Plans
  • Deployment Ownership - Change Sets, CI/CD, Rollback Strategies
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to participate in regular business meetings to understand strategic goals and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to gather, refine, and document user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to ensure alignment between business expectations and technical feasibility
  • Ability to define and track development timelines, ensuring commitments are met
  • Ability to conduct daily stand-ups and follow up on the progress of all developers
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks or blockers in the development lifecycle
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team
  • Ability to sync regularly with the support team (reporting to Kyle's team) to ensure no code overrides or conflicts occur
  • Ability to coordinate other teams which are integration with Salesforce platform to make sure all deployment updates are given to integrated system users
  • Ability to review and suggest improvements to technical design documents for new functionality implementations
  • Ability to ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
  • Ability to conduct code reviews and enforce quality assurance processes
    Ability to review and validate test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Ability to support QA teams during testing cycles and assist in defect triaging and resolution
  • Ability to take complete ownership of production deployments, including planning, execution, and post-deployment validation
  • Ability to ensure rollback strategies and contingency plans are in place for all releases
  • Ability to maintain deployment documentation and change logs
