Senior Software Engineer I

Functional Description:

As part of the tax and treasury IT team the Software Engineer will play a significant part in solutioning, designing, and developing web applications, Robotic automation processes to solve business problems to help simplify and automate. The engineer will work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with the business product management and members of the engineering team. They will apply their skills in a highly dynamic, innovative, forward-thinking environment that follows industry best practices and fosters engineering culture. Additional responsibilities will include:

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Act as a technical liaison or subject matter expert in understanding and supporting the development of software solutions that will help improve the user experience for the business customer by helping automate and simplify their business process.
2. Support the Technical Support Specialist in trouble-shooting needs, Triaging/Attending war rooms as required.
3. Work as an Individual contributor and would be responsible to work with onshore stakeholders/clients to gather requirements, perform end-to-end implementation.
4. Collaboration with stakeholders, including business product owners, clients, and vendors to identify project scope, define timelines and project implementation.
5. Communicate effectively with the stakeholders.

  Job Responsibilities
• Develop applications that meet the business needs of the business customer (Corporate Tax and Corporate Treasury).
• Improve User experience for the end user by designing user centric applications.
• Automate and simplify business processes to help reduce costs and resource needs.
• Develop applications focusing on Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation & APIs.
• Create applications to help integrate various business processes into existing vendor products.

• C#, .Net Core
• SQL query &SQL stored procedure writing
• Develop reports using various reporting tools such as SSRS
• Azure cloud development
• Experience with Database design, application design and architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code deployment
• Use of Github repository
• Self-sufficient developer who can work independently
• Good verbal and written communication
• Customer focused developer
• Developer that can communicate effectively with business customers to gather requirements, help with testing and for application support.
• Proficiency with SDLC and working in Agile environment
