Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service. Supports the team in meeting clinical and service goals. Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator will be asked, at times, to complete outbound calls to members for survey purposes.

Schedule: This is for a full-time (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm PST. The schedule will be determined by the manager upon hire.

Location: 7205 265th Street NW, Stanwood, WA 98292 (office location) This is a hybrid position when you are not working from home you will be in the office.

If you reside near Stanwood, WA, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet Quality, Productivity and Attendance requirements
  • Making outbound calls to members and provider offices
  • Maintaining accurate documentation
  • Being responsible for any follow-up work needed for resolving and closing issues
  • Identifying and resolving anticipated Provider issues to prevent future calls
  • Maintain proficiency in all technical applications (technical skills and system knowledge)
  • Comply with all current policies, procedures and workflows
  • Collaborate with Care Managers, Hospital Staff, Providers, and Community agencies and organizations to facilitate to services
  • Leads the activities of team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.
  • Participates in internal/external collaborative meetings on Service Needs and discusses barriers to service initiation
  • Effective communication with Care Team members throughout workday via email, TEAMs chat, and telephone to assist in coordination of care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 4+ years of experience working within the healthcare Industry or with healthcare insurance
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • 1+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Intermediate level of computer experience with MS Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Outlook (email and calendar management) be able to use multiple web applications, to include preparing and/or format office documentation needed for various audiences
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to office location at 7205 265th Street NW, Stanwood, WA 98292
  • Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI) and Live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working in medical terminology
  • 1+ years of experience as a medical assistant
  • A clerical or administrative support background
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and or Medicare population

  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills and scheduling skills as observed in day-to-day work

  • Able to handle sensitive issues with members and providers in a confidential manner
  • Demonstrates initiative in achieving individual, team, and organizational goals and objectives
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to use community and network resources to meet members' needs.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
