PHRN Trainer - Multiple Locations

As a PHRN Trainer, you'll be responsible for making sure our evolving training needs are met to keep our level of effort high and our progress moving forward. Positions in this function will be involved in assessment, facilitation and organization of the business training needs. Part of the responsibilities include but not limited to preparation and creation of training materials, conducting needs analysis, managing performance both in class and in steady state business, reporting, and handling/ initiating self or team projects. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate New Hire Training, Refresher Training, Upskill/Cross skill training as per business requirements
  • Drive training readiness meetings and coordinate with Talent Acquisition and Operations for class readiness, execution of plans and tasks including logistics, BCPs to training and content delivery
  • Supervise employees through training and assist in successful transition to operations
  • Oversee employee performance during training and evaluate assessment results
  • Appropriately document employee performance, prepare training reports to record progress
  • Manage performance through coaching, create individual development plans and recovery plans within the training timeline to ensure new hire goals are met
  • Make recommendations for content/format improvements/optimization
  • Perform research required to update/develop material for the training program
  • Lead or assist in developing, updating and maintaining knowledge base, SOPs, Facilitator guides and participant handbooks
  • Perform applicable post-training activities, as required (e.g., roster reporting, classroom reset, storage of supplies/materials)
  • Ensure consistent compliance on operating standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Operations and appropriate teams (ISDs, SMEs, Leadership) for recommended training solutions
  • Identify training needs and opportunities of the business
  • Recommend training as well as non-training related solutions
  • Demonstrate good application of teaching methods & style for optimum learning
  • Utilize statistical tools to validate data and results
  • Understand business priorities, metrics, and goals of the business to align training needs
  • Learn and understand business and process specific tools
  • Perform training needs analysis, identification of root causes of performance gaps
  • Articulate, document and communicate participant milestones and success
  • Champion company policies and procedures through appropriate & timely corrective action plans
  • Create training assets, not limited to visuals, modules, storyboards, activity manuals, job aids, ppts
  • Participate in program offers and certifications, champion continues education
  • Perform periodic assessment to check compliance issues and assist in correcting findings
  • Maintain excellent communication and partnership with the business
  • Foster collaboration with all internal and external customers
  • Support and drive innovation changes, process improvements and new age learning
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • College degree holder
  • Active or Inactive (maximum of 3 years) Philippine Registered Nurse license
  • At least 1 year training or relevant experience - SME, coaching, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of the domain & process supported
  • Proven good coordination skills, MS skills, communication skills in both written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or other Allied Health courses
  • Certification or equivalent in facilitation skills
  • Instructional design experience
