Medical Assistant - Dermatology

Schedule: 37.5 total hours per week. Monday - Friday between 7:30am & 4:00pm
Locations: 575 Underhill Blvd Syosset, NY 11791, 3 Delaware Dr #205, New Hyde Park, NY 11042, & 1500 Route 112 Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices
• Coordinates with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care
• Assists physician or other provider with clinical procedures and participates in patient teaching
• Provides Direction To: Clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel

Required Qualification:

• 1+ years of healthcare office experience
• Experience in a medical office setting
• Experience with PC and Microsoft office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification
• OB/GYN experience
• 1+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant performing front and clinical back-office duties
• Experience working with EPIC EMR software

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
